Creative Nature Guide

My name is Danielle Ivey. I have been a professional in the environmental field for over 20 years and and artist for even longer. I have had the good fortune to work all through Central Florida and have seen some of the most breath taking natural areas Florida has to offer, but I have also watched the landscape change. I feel people have not only lost their connection to nature and their innate creativity but we are losing what makes Florida the greatest state to live in. I want to guide you into making a better connection with the world around you through Nature Journaling. Nature journaling is wonderful because all you really need is a journal, a writing implement and to step outside. No need to buy expensive art supplies and travel to a far off land in search of adventure when it is right outside your door.

You don’t need to be a scientist, or an artist. I will help you learn the fundamentals. If you can draw basic shapes we can get you creating. The world is an amazing and beautiful place and I want to show you how you can spark your curiosity to learn and do more in nature.
